Below is a short 1 minute cartoon showing what a average citizen like Rodney can do to help save money and the world
Also, here is another short 1 minute video showing two ways to stop CO2 daily emission. Number 27 is especially important and you should do exactly what he did. Yes, I do mean running as fast as you can back to your house. Thats just how important it is.
Not only will you be a part in saving the world…but you can save a couple of dollars too! Although most people believe that saving the world takes a superhero, that illusion isn’t necessarily true, you can be a superhero too, by fighting the bad guys in this case the vampires (aka plugs). By changing minuscule details in your life, your superhero fantasy may be coming true. Well, we all know that the first step in saving our soon to be Co2ed world is unplugging the appliances we currently aren’t using. For example, we can take out those cell phone chargers, nightlights during the daytime, fans, pencil sharpener, computers, televisions, straighteners (or curlers), printers, and perhaps even microwaves. By doing so little in your everyday lives, unplugging those unnecessary things you will be on your way to a cheaper electric bill, so now you haven’t just been a part of saving the world, but saved a little money too.=]
Many people have been asking me what the meaning of vampire electronics is, so i wanted to post a definition to make it clear to everyone. Vampire electronics are electronics that you may think are turned off in your house, but they really are not and are using up more and more energy. This energy that is being used is directly affecting your community. Not only that, it’s increasing CO2 emissions! That’s right, those cell phone chargers and plugs you leave overnight could actually help slow down global warming. Well I hope this clarified things a bit.
The cause of 5% of the total energy crisis is something that should have been fixed long ago. The things that we leave plugged in siphon our power supply, are wasting our money, and doing harm to the environment. Simply because we cannot unplug our electronics! When you unplug an electronic you are no longer taking power and there is no energy transport. It seems like such a basic thing however, it accounts for a large portion of the energy we use. Whenever you leave a cell phone charger plugged in energy is being consumed right before your eyes. So we ask for something basic, to reconsider leaving things plugged in. At least unplug things that you do not use on a regular basis. We call on you people of the world to put a stake in the heart of vampire electronics by unplugging devices which are not in use. It is a simple task, but if it is not resolved then we are destroying our land and wasting out money. Since much of the worlds power is created by fossil fuels we continue to emit Carbon dioxide into the atmosphere even when we do not use our electronics. Vampire Electronics are contributing to global warming and must be stopped. By the turn of the century sea levels will rise 1.4 meters and the world’s future will become volatile some of this is greatly due to vampire electronics. Do us all a favor and unplug those electronics. Contact us if you would like to contribute information at VampireElectronics@yahoo.com or at vampireelectronicsblog@gmail.com.
